Senior Java Algorithm Developer / Tech Lead European Financial Services Firm £150K+

Paragon Alpha are partnered with a well-established Financial Services Firm who are hiring a Senior Java Developer to lead the buildout of a greenfield execution platform for their Equities desk in London.

You will be central to the planning and development of this new build. Using your capacity to create high-quality trading algorithms, this new execution platform will remain highly optimised to meet the needs of my client's elite team of traders. As a Tech Lead on this project, you will have the opportunity to recruit a new development team of engineers, to ensure the continued expansion and management of the platform across the desk.

You will bring hands-on experience in Equities trading, being able to efficiently and effectively go face to face with professionals on the trading floor. Deploying your proficiency in Java for full-stack trading system development.

Tech Stack: Java, Kubernetes, SQL

This is an opportunity to take on a leading role on my client's trading floor, working to propel their Equity Desk and guide this new team to the very cutting edge.
