Senior Investment Analyst

A privately-owned investment consultancy business, which has recently experienced considerable growth, is currently recruiting for a Senior Investment Analyst. The role will support the investment consultants on a portfolio of existing and potential clients.

Key responsibilities:

1. Attending and presenting at client meetings with investment consultants, drafting meeting minutes and quickly following up on actions
2. Setting up and maintaining asset-liability models
3. Organising fund manager selection exercises
4. Quarterly investment reporting
5. Adding to the growth of the firm and team by helping to prepare for new business tenders

Key requirements:

1. 4-8 years of experience within an investment consulting team
2. Partially qualified actuary or CFA charter-holder (study support will be provided)
3. Excellent interpersonal skills with both internal and external professional relationships
4. A good basic understanding of investment markets and asset classes, integrated risk management, applicable regulatory/legislative rules and compliance (e.g. FCA client categorisation) and current industry trends
