Job Summary
Our client, a leading international law and professional services firm, seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with extensive hands-on technical expertise in VMWare, HPE ProLiant, NetApp, Microsoft stack (M365), and Azure. This role covers installation, configuration, maintenance, support, monitoring and optimisation of all storage, compute hardware, resources, backup and disaster recovery infrastructure environment. You will be a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running - not a step-up opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize datacentre infrastructure (Servers, virtualisation, storage, backup/DR, cloud)
• Implement highly available Microsoft solutions across on-premises and Azure environments
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and prevent downtime
• Support disaster recovery and work with InfoSec on data protection controls
• Deliver infrastructure for new business systems and maintain technical documentation
• Act as a technical escalation point for the service desk

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5+ years IT Infrastructure Engineer experience (mandatory)
• Expert-level: VMWare, HPE ProLiant, NetApp, Rubrik backup
• Expert-level Microsoft: PowerShell, IaC, Hyper-V, AD, M365, Azure, SCCM
• Experience with cloud services (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS) and disaster recovery
• Certifications: HPE ASE/Master ASE, MCSE, or Azure
• Strong problem-solving, able to prioritise under pressure and work autonomously
