Job Title: Senior Informatica IDMC Cloud developer
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid - 2/3 days per week onsite)
Duration: Until 31/12/2025 (with possibility of extension)
Pay rate: £335 per day inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and developing ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data marts.
  • Very good in Informatica development, setup and IDMC cloud migration
  • Strong in writing SQL, joining between tables and compare the table data
  • Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Conduct data quality checks and troubleshoot issues related to ETL processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve ETL processes and performance.
  • Document ETL processes and workflows, ensuring clear and comprehensive records.
  • Learn and apply best practices in ETL development and data integration.
  • Knowledge of Scripting languages (Python, Shell Scripting) is advantageous.
  • Very good knowledge in Datawarehouse and ETL concepts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of ETL concepts and processes.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
  • Knowledge of any ETL tools (such as Informatica) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data modelling and database design.
