Senior HR Workday Analyst

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Workday professional to support the transition of a newly implemented Workday system into BAU, drive continuous improvements, and help embed new modules as they are rolled out.
Role Overview
You will play a key role in the ongoing evolution of Workday, working closely with HR, IT and wider business teams to enhance functionality, optimise processes, and support users. This role involves configuration, troubleshooting, release management and contributing to the long-term Workday product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities

Support the development and delivery of the Workday product strategy and advise on new features and capabilities.

Configure, maintain, and enhance multiple Workday modules, contributing to the bi-annual release cycle through testing, analysis and stakeholder communication.

Identify and resolve system issues, recommend enhancements, and act as a consultative partner to business users and SMEs.

Work with HR, IT and cross-functional teams to drive adoption, ensure compliance with change governance and continuously improve processes.

Provide clear communication, training and documentation for stakeholders and user groups.

Maintain up-to-date configuration and process documentation and support BAU HR activities, including data quality, reporting, security, and integration troubleshooting.

Prepare regular progress updates for system leadership or product owners.
Experience & Skills Required

5+ years of hands-on configuration experience across multiple Workday HR modules (eg, HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance; experience with Absence, Learning, Advanced Comp, or Benefits is a plus).

Strong understanding of Workday security, access roles, reporting, calculated fields and dashboards.

Experience streamlining HR processes, gathering requirements, mapping user journeys and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience with Workday Journeys, surveys, testing support, issue tracking and bi-annual release cycles.

Ability to maintain data integrity, conduct audits and support data cleansing.

Confident in updating configurations, completing and validating EIBs, resolving system and data issues, and supporting users with system-related needs.

Strong documentation skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to prioritise and deliver enhancements.
