Senior Human Resources Manager - 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Oakleaf are partnering with a global professional services firm to recruit a Senior HR Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a strategic, hands on role providing trusted HR advice to senior leaders across Europe in a fast paced, multi country environment. This role is covering someone moving internally to support a project.

You will lead on ground HR Advisors in Europe and work closely with EMEA HR colleagues and Centres of Excellence (Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards) to deliver consistent, high-quality HR services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior HR professional to influence business strategy, lead complex people initiatives, and operate at a pan European level. You must have prior experience supporting Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver people strategies across multiple European locations circa.170 employees.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, employment legislation, consultation, and organisational change.
  • Manage, develop, and support HR team members to ensure strong operational delivery in regional offices.
  • Collaborate with EMEA HR colleagues and Centres of Excellence.
  • Act as a credible escalation point for high risk or complex people matters.
Requirements
  • Significant experience as a Senior HR Manager or HR Business Partner in a multi country European environment, ideally within professional services or financial services. This is a non negotiable.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations in Germany and Poland.
  • Proven experience leading and developing HR teams.
  • Ability to influence and coach senior leaders with credibility.
  • Experience managing complex change, restructuring, and sensitive employee relations matters.
  • Strong commercial judgement, balancing compliance, risk, and business priorities.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
