You'll be the primary HR contact for our UK and EU population of around 100 people, partnering closely with managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle; from the moment someone accepts an offer to the day they leave, and everything in between. The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional with strong knowledge of employment practices, employee relations, payroll administration, and HR operations, comfortable handling operational HR responsibilities in a fast-paced, change-rich environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & ComplianceMaintain accurate employee records and HR documentationEnsure compliance with UK labour laws, company policies, and regulatory requirementsSupport audits, reporting, and HR metrics trackingAssist with policy creation, implementation, and updatesManage visa applications and maintenance of sponsored employeesTalent Acquisition & OnboardingPartner with hiring managers to support end to end recruitment activities and hiring processes in the UK and EU to ensure the acquisition of top talentCoordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires in UK and EUHelp improve employer branding and candidate experience initiativesMaintain and build relationships with recruitment agencies, ensuring up to date PSL which are fit for purposeCompensation, Benefits & Employee ExperienceSupport benefits administration and employee inquiriesAdminister and oversee monthly payroll in partnership with Mexico Service Centre, including:Manage payroll reporting for EE shares, pension, healthcare schemes and internal finance reportingOversee annual reporting of P11D's, P60's. P45's, and other HMRC requirementsAdminister all benefits including annual renewals, as well as the evaluation and research of market trends and proposing potential changes based on employee needsEmployee Relations & HR SupportServe as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and workplace mattersHandle employee relations issues, investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes in line with company practicesSupport performance management processes, including reviews, coaching, and development planningAct as point of contact for general inquiriesLearning & Organizational DevelopmentManage and oversee atgCareers page and ATG Learning Academy programmeCollaborate with internal subject matter experts to design interactive courses to be delivered internallyEstablish robust tracking mechanisms to measure participation, progress and outcomes of Academy courses, utilising feedback to drive improvementCollaborate with Head of HR on developing and hosting Manager Training SessionsEmployee ExperienceAssist in driving employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention initiatives in local offices in UK and EUSupport in the administration of the annual engagement survey and pulse surveysPartner with Office Manager on office activities, like monthly socials, summer/winter parties and other social/well-being initiativesSupport and partner with stakeholders on global and regional newslettersWHAT YOU CAN EXPECTA role with genuine breadth: no two days will look the same, and your remit will grow as you do.Real proximity to the business: you'll be a visible, valued part of the team, not a back-office function.The chance to shape how we do HR, not just maintain what already exists.A supportive environment where good ideas are welcomed and people are treated as adults.Key RequirementsRequiredBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field5-8+ years of generalist HR experienceStrong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practicesExperience handling employee relations and performance management mattersExcellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage confidential information with discretionProficiency with HRIS systems and data analysis toolsAccuracy and attention to detailStrong customer service ethos and proven resilienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)Strong initiative and ability to pro-actively recommend improvements to HR processes & servicesA positive, adaptable, and professional working attitude is essentialPreferredCIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or working towards chartershipExposure to German HR practicesExperience supporting organizational change initiativesWe recognise that not every candidate will tick every box.
