Role Overview

We are seeking a female Senior Home Care Assistant to support a female client in their own home, in line with their requested preference. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced carer who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives. Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including dressing, bathing, and toileting
• Administer medication safely and accurately
• Assist with basic food preparation and light housework
• Support clients with shopping and daily living activities
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Follow tailored care plans to meet individual needs
• Take responsibility for the shift and oversee care workers and home carers
• Respond to emergencies and provide guidance to care staff
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and managers

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a care role preferred, but full training is provided
• Care Certificate desirable
• Access to a car for work is required
• UK Driving Licence essential
• Strong communication skills and ability to work flexibly under pressure
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: From £12.82 per hour
• Generous mileage allowance (25p per mile when using your own car)
