  • Work closely with production managers and supervisors to promote safe working practices and legislative compliance
  • Monitor contractor compliance, including inductions, RAMS and associated documentation
  • Assess workplace transport, manual handling and machinery-related risks
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including fire safety procedures and evacuation drills

  • Engage with employees and safety representatives to promote a positive safety culture across the site
What you will need to succeed:
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety or a related discipline
  • Previous Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and operational risk management
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations

Working hours:
  • Monday: Day shift (approximately 8am-4pm)
  • Tuesday-Friday: Evening shift (approximately 4pm-12am)
  • Flexibility required depending on operational needs
Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):
  • Previous experience within food manufacturing or a high-volume production environment
  • Experience delivering Health & Safety training, including manual handling
  • Experience analysing H&S performance data and implementing improvement initiatives
