Senior Governance & Committee Officer needed in Rochdale Paying £21.14 per hr ref 000A A74D

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

• Lead and support colleagues to ensure Committee Services meets business and organisational needs.
• Maintain and enhance committee support systems and procedures.
• Ensure statutory and legislative safeguarding standards are met.
• Support constitutional reviews and implement legislative changes.
• Advise elected members, senior managers, and committees on governance and decision-making.
• Lead quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with local and legislative requirements.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, partners, and customers.
• Deliver staff training and coaching on governance and decision-focused procedures.
• Support the effective operation of school appeals, including administration and clerking.
