The opportunity

EY's Global Tax Desk Network is staffed by tax professionals from approximately 10 global jurisdictions, providing real-time tax advice to our clients worldwide. The teams collaborate with local tax professionals to offer in-depth advice on jurisdiction-specific laws and tax-efficient structuring of international transactions. Our EMEIA Global Tax Desk team includes over 60 professionals based mainly in London, with members in Paris, Rotterdam, Munich, Madrid, Manama, and Doha. The Brazil Desk seeks a Staff member with experience or internship in a corporate environment to support the Brazilian Tax Desk leader in London. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a multicultural team involved in inbound investment projects to Brazil and Latin America.

Your key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager in building and maintaining client relationships and delivering high-quality service.
• Assist in client acquisition and managing existing clients.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence aligned with EY values.
• Support the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the Brazil Desk and contribute to the Latin American Business Centre (LABC) strategy.

To qualify, you must have

• Proven knowledge of international and Brazilian tax laws.
• Basic negotiation skills and ability to handle challenges.
• Strong teamwork attitude.
• Client-oriented mindset with strategic and commercial awareness.
• Excellent English skills, both written and oral.
• Bachelor's Degree in Law and LLM in Taxation.
