Senior Full Stack JavaScript Consultant
Location: Leeds (Hybrid - 2 days on-site)
Salary: Up to £80k + Benefits

The Role:
We're looking for a Senior Full Stack JavaScript Consultant to join a Leeds-based tech consultancy delivering modern, scalable applications for a variety of clients. You'll be a key contributor on projects, taking ownership of complex features, influencing technical decisions, and working closely with clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
This role is ideal for a strong hands-on engineer who enjoys solving problems, writing excellent code, and contributing to technical direction without full delivery ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full stack JavaScript applications
• Deliver high-quality, production-ready code across front and Back End
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and propose solutions
• Contribute to architectural and design discussions
• Promote best practices around testing, performance, and maintainability
• Work within agile, cross-functional delivery teams
• Mentor junior engineers informally through code reviews and pairing

• Strong commercial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Front End experience with React (or similar frameworks)
• Back End experience with Node.js (Express, NestJS, etc.)
• Must have experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Solid understanding of modern engineering practices
• Experience working in agile or consultancy environments

• Microservices or serverless architectures
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders
