Senior Full Stack Engineer - Gen AI

Are you ready to design and build next-level Gen AI solutions from the ground up? We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join at a large financial enterprise in the Netherlands, contributing to an innovative environment using cutting-edge AI technology.

Join a high-impact project where you'll help build responsible and scalable Gen AI tools used by millions of customers. This is a long-term contract within a fast-paced, tech-forward team. You'll work directly with internal customers, use the latest tools like Azure, GitHub, and OpenAI APIs, and play a key role in shaping reusable components that power 1000+ engineering teams.

About the role

You'll be part of a multidisciplinary product team responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying full-stack Gen AI solutions - with a focus on Back End engineering. The work is mostly greenfield, giving you creative freedom to experiment, pair program, and contribute to automation.

The project is based in Amsterdam and hybrid work is possible. The environment is collaborative, purpose-driven, and innovation-focused.

About you

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience (with Back End focus)
• Hands-on experience building Gen AI solutions (prompting, agents, OpenAI API, etc.)
• Strong skills in Azure, GitHub, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in Python (and/or JavaScript), CI/CD, testing practices
• Effective communicator and team player with a curious mindset
