Senior Frontend Developer (Video Solution) Corporate Hammersmith

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Frontend Developer to support our Video Solution Team in building the next generation of video technologies. This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of our TypeScript-based video player library, create high-impact monitoring dashboards, and contribute to a new era of video player development for our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the Video Player library written in TypeScript.
• Design and build monitoring and analytics dashboards.
• Participate in the development of our next-generation video player.
• Contribute to improving internal development processes, toolchains, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in building dashboards or backend tools from scratch using TypeScript, including architecture, component structure, error handling, and performance tuning.
• Strong hands on expertise in debugging across major browsers (Chromium, WebKit, Gecko), with solid knowledge of browser dev tools, rendering behaviour, and performance profiling.
• Practical experience with WebSocket based real time communication and event driven data handling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment workflows.
• Ability to collaborate closely with video engineers, data teams, and product managers in a fast evolving environment.
• Experience using AI assisted development tools.
• Background in Video Codec related development, video streaming technologies, or multimedia frameworks.
