Job Description
Overview

Initial 6 month fixed term contract (temp to perm). We're seeking a dynamic and well-rounded Senior Finance Manager to lead a rapidly growing finance function and help shape ongoing process improvement and business growth strategy. You'll play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and taking the lead on a pivotal systems implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the full finance cycle including: accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timeliness.
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis and forecasts that inform strategic decisions and drive performance.
  • Oversee financial controls, reconciliations, and audits (internal and external) while meeting all statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • Lead the creation of annual budgets and medium-term plans that align with organisational goals.
  • Implement and enhance financial systems and processes, driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with technical and operational teams to provide financial insights and business support.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a small finance team, fostering growth, accountability, and professional development.
Qualifications
  • A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a senior finance role.
  • Strong financial reporting and audit preparation expertise.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems - NetSuite experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner across functions.
  • Proven leadership qualities with a passion for developing others.
  • A sharp analytical mind, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
