Accredited Insurance is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Contractor to support a number of key finance transformation projects over the next nine months, with an initial focus on Technical Debtors and Creditors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical accountant with a strong insurance background who enjoys improving processes, strengthening controls, and solving complex data challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading reconciliation projects across Technical Debtors and Creditors.
• Designing and implementing robust financial controls.
• Analysing large volumes of financial data to identify and drive process improvements.
• Supporting finance transformation initiatives and automation projects.
• Working closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver key project outcomes.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Qualified accountant with 10+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong US GAAP insurance accounting experience (IFRS 17 exposure is advantageous but not essential).
• Proven experience delivering reconciliation and finance improvement projects.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger/ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
• Experience working with large datasets; knowledge of SQL and/or Power Query would be advantageous.
• A proactive individual with a track record of leading similar projects and driving tangible improvements.
