The position carries broad accountability across financial performance, strategic planning, and cross functional alignment - spanning MRO facilities, business development, customer support, and the ongoing ASA business transfer. A critical element of this role is leading and overseeing the Finance responsibilities for the ASA transfer, working in close collaboration with the USA and SEDA finance teams to ensure financial integrity and continuity throughout the transition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as senior finance lead and trusted advisor to the Aftermarket Director, providing strategic insight, P&L oversight, and ensuring compliance with Safran standards.
  • Lead and develop Finance Analysts supporting ASA transfer, ensuring quality delivery and strong collaboration across Safran finance teams.
  • Own financial planning and reporting for MRO Storefront and Flightsense, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Establish robust financial governance, consistency, and best practice across Actuation Aftermarket functions.
  • Support Aftermarket growth strategy through financial evaluation, identifying savings, synergies, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with the FlightSense Programme Manager on governance, cost control, and full ownership of EAC processes.
  • Lead R&O cycles, forecasting, and reporting; drive performance reviews and accountability for financial results.
  • Champion continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and insight.
  • Ensure consistent forecasting methodologies aligned with strategy and market intelligence.
  • Build strong global finance networks to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Review and approve ASA commercial proposals and business cases.
  • Support ASA integration activities and ensure alignment with Safran Group standards.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting policies, controls, and international standards.
Key Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ICAEW, ACCA).
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel; ability to interpret complex data.
  • Commercial experience supporting decision making, with strong business case and investment analysis capability.
  • Strategic mindset with ability to challenge and influence.
  • Experience working in matrix environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, able to present financial information clearly to non finance audiences.
  • Proactive, organised self starter with good prioritisation skills.
  • Team oriented with flexibility and commitment to organisational success.
  • Experience working across multiple geographies and cultures.
  • Solid grounding in finance best practice within large organisations.
Desirable
  • Programme Finance (EAC), Power by the Hour, FP&A in manufacturing/engineering, and aftermarket/service sales experience.
