We are in pole position to become a world leader in SMRs and the UK's premier green export technology.Our Finance team plays a critical role in shaping commercially sound decision making, driving financial insight across customer and R&D projects, and enabling the business to scale with confidence. We partner closely with senior stakeholders to deliver clarity, rigour and strategic impact.In this context, we're looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to support our Senior Commercial Finance Manager. Acting as a trusted advisor across a wide portfolio, you'll influence strategic decisions, strengthen financial performance and shape the financial integrity of our future projects We'll need you to: Partner with bid teams to ensure customer contracts are financially robust, commercially viable and aligned to strategic objectives. Lead accurate forecasting, budgeting and Estimate at Completion (EAC) planning across multiple projects, improving predictability and financial control. Deliver portfolio level financial analysis that highlights risks and opportunities, enabling proactive decisions and effective mitigation. Strengthen financial transparency by clearly communicating portfolio insights to stakeholders and championing financial acumen across the business. A full role profile is available on request. As you can see, this is a pivotal, high profile role, and you'll bring a collaborative mindset, commercial curiosity, and first class analytical and communication skills to drive strategic financial outcomes. Essential skills & qualifications Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong MS Excel capability; SAP experience is beneficial. Strong experience supporting Bid teams - developing accurate cost estimates, balancing competitiveness with profitability, and collaborating across functions to deliver timely, high quality bid submissions. Confident presenting cost breakdowns and commercial rationale to senior stakeholders. Proven ability to lead forecasting, budgeting and EAC processes across multiple complex projects, influencing stakeholders, managing competing priorities and presenting financial performance clearly and concisely. The capability to identify risks and opportunities early, turning complex financial data into clear insights, improving transparency and elevating financial understanding across teams. A continuous improvement mindset - designing, embedding and optimising processes and controls that enhance efficiency, strengthen risk management and uplift business performance.
