Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) offers a British solution to a global energy challenge, positioning us as a future world leader in SMR technology.Our Finance team plays a critical role in shaping the future of RR SMR, providing insight, challenge and high-quality analysis to drive informed decisions in a rapidly scaling and highly innovative engineering environment.In this context, we're looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner - FP&A to support our Senior Finance Manager - FP&A. This is a pivotal role-central to shaping forward-looking insight, strengthening financial planning frameworks, and influencing senior leaders to ensure we deliver on our strategic objectives. We'll need you to: Lead our annual budget cycle and quarterly business reviews, aligning senior stakeholders and embedding robust controls across headcount and cost management. Deliver accurate rolling cashflow forecasts, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities to optimise working capital and strengthen financial resilience. Produce meaningful, timely financial reporting that highlights risks, opportunities, and actions-partnering closely with senior leaders to drive accountability. Build trusted relationships across the organisation, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders. Essential skills & qualifications Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent), with strong analytical capability and confidence working with senior-level stakeholders. Strong experience leading end to end budgeting and forecasting in fast paced environments. Able to challenge assumptions and influence senior leaders confidently. Resilient and effective when working with ambiguity. Skilled in P&L, cashflow and balance sheet reporting, delivering clear insights and concise commentary. Strong understanding of core financial KPIs and performance drivers. Strong capability in business modelling and investment appraisal (DCF, IRR, NPV). Able to critically assess financial plans for realism and deliverability.
