Team/Role Overview

The Senior Event Project Coordinator is an individual contributor and team member. Works independently to solve complex problems, applies detailed industry knowledge, and provides thoughtful recommendations. Breaks events into smaller tasks, documents plans, and executes them. Demonstrates understanding of partner and stakeholder integration, effective communication, and diplomacy when handling sensitive information. Quality and timeliness of service measure effectiveness of self, team, and job function performance.

What you'll do
  • Supports Senior Event Project Managers and business units across Citi with event marketing coordination services.
  • Provides specialised end to end event marketing strategy, planning, and execution of client and employee events.
  • Develops event marketing strategies and leads initiatives to drive results for clients and business partners.
  • Participates in event logistics, planning, and execution.
  • Ensures all events comply with Citi branding, marketing and controls; marketing materials, signage and displays.
  • Partners with Global Event Management Web Services to create and execute event content, website design, registration services and attendee reporting.
  • Manages event financial reporting and ensures all data meets compliance criteria; reconciles invoices and final cost reporting and captures cost savings.
  • Supports all Citi Expense Management initiatives and facilitates event risk evaluations.
  • Assesses risk to protect Citi's reputation and assets, drives compliance with laws and regulations, applies ethical judgment, and reports control issues with transparency.
What we need from you
  • Event or Hospitality Industry Experience in Financial Services/FinTech is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle projects with long and short lead times.
  • Excellent relationship management skills and a people focused orientation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Collaborative "team player" orientation with strong regional cultural awareness.
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving and reporting skills.
  • Flexibility in work hours and willingness to travel, work weekends and holidays while managing events.
  • Bachelor's or equivalent university degree or experience.
