What You'll Do

• Take ownership of the estimating process from initial tender to final submission.
• Lead and support a small team of estimators, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Prepare cost plans, Bills of Quantities, and risk assessments for projects up to £30 million.
• Review drawings, specifications, and site information to spot opportunities for efficiency and value engineering.
• Work closely with architects, QSs, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth handover of estimates.
• Influence decisions on construction methods and pricing strategies to maximise commercial advantage.

Who We're Looking For

• Proven main contractor estimating experience across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Comfortable leading tenders from start to finish and mentoring junior team members.
• Knowledge of JCT Design & Build contracts, with NEC experience a bonus.
• Experience with Causeway or similar estimating software.
• Strong communicator and negotiator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
