Senior Engineers - Geotechnics

We are looking for senior geotechnical engineers who are passionate about sustainability, and keen to work in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for the delivery of geotechnical services for a wide range of projects - focusing on residential and commercial sectors - often in collaboration with other disciplines at Whitby Wood.

You will need to be a dab hand with a pencil, able to command the respect of colleagues and clients, and experienced in successfully leading teams across a number of projects. This capability should be matched by excellent interpersonal skills, and a readiness to represent us at meetings with clients and project teams.

The ideal candidate has the following digits and skills:

• 5+ years' experience in geotechnical design
• Degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or a related discipline
• Chartered status, or working towards chartership, desirable
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Enthusiasm for ground engineering and professional growth
• Proven experience with geotechnical software, such as PLAXIS, Oasys Site, GeoStudio
