Job Description
About the Role

As a Senior Engineer, Software Tools you will contribute to the development of graphical tools for Analog Devices' Datacenters & Energy business unit. You will design, develop and maintain intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces for software applications that allow our customers to configure and evaluate our Datacenters and Energy devices.

Responsibilities
  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Gather, analyse and prepare software requirements
  • Design and implement graphical user interfaces based on requirements and design guidelines
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of the UI
  • Collaborate, communicate and resolve technical issues or concepts with other engineers
  • Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and code reviews
  • Maintain documentation for UI components, styles, and interaction patterns
  • Conduct UI testing, including usability testing, cross platform testing, and performance tuning
  • Implement automated UI tests where applicable
Minimum Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum 5 years experience in UI software development
  • Strong proficiency in GUI development using tools or frameworks such as WPF, WinUI, or similar
  • Relevant programming experience in C/C++ and C#
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and user centered design
  • Proficiency in version control systems
  • Experience with automated UI testing frameworks
Desirable Additional Skills and Experience
  • Python programming experience
  • Embedded software development experience
  • AI/ML experience

  • Travel: Up to 10%

  • Job Requirements: Experienced; Travel: 10%; Shift: 1st Shift/Days
