Overview

A highly respected Irish Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their team on a €20m renovation and extension of a protected educational facility in Co. Westmeath. This is a challenging project involving the refurbishment of a historic structure alongside the construction of a modern extension, requiring a strong focus on quality, coordination and attention to detail. You will work closely with the Site Manager, Contracts Manager and wider project team to ensure successful delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all engineering and setting out activities on site, ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and quality requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Monitor construction progress and maintain accurate site records, QA documentation and as-built information.
• Work closely with the design team and site management to resolve technical queries and coordinate project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a site based engineering role in Ireland.
• Previous experience on renovation or educational projects is highly desirable.
• Strong setting out, technical and coordination skills.

The Package

Salary will depend on experience, but an experienced Senior Engineer can expect a salary in the region of €75,000 - €80,000 + Vehicle + Fuel + Matched Pension.
