Overview

Job title: Senior Engagement Manager

King's College London seeks a Senior Engagement Manager to lead an ambitious international partnership that bridges healthcare education and research between the UK and India. You will take the lead in managing the Hinduja-King's Health Partners Academy, a partnership with the PD Hinduja Hospital and the Hinduja Foundation within the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine.

This initiative focuses on delivering clinical and non-clinical training, expanding research capacity, and facilitating executive education for health professionals in India. The Academy also supports scholarships for Indian students pursuing PhD and Masters programs in biomedical engineering. The role involves managing budgets, tracking project milestones, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring philanthropic and contractual conditions supporting the collaboration are adhered to.

Your work will contribute to King's College London's international strategy and the King's Vision 2029, which emphasises global service and societal impact. The position is a full-time, fixed-term contract for four years, with a salary inclusive of London Weighting Allowance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Hinduja-King's Health Partners Academy with PD Hinduja Hospital and the Hinduja Foundation, including delivering clinical and non-clinical training, expanding research capacity, and facilitating executive education for health professionals in India.
  • Manage budgets, track project milestones, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure adherence to philanthropic and contractual conditions supporting the collaboration.
  • Contribute to King's international strategy and the King's Vision 2029 through the partnership's outcomes and activities.
Contract details

Full-time, fixed-term contract for four years. Salary is inclusive of London Weighting Allowance.

Qualifications and experience
  • Experience in managing international education initiatives, cross-border partnerships, or large-scale collaborations between institutions.
  • Strong project management, budgeting, milestone tracking, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Experience with academic program structures and education in healthcare or biomedical engineering is relevant to the Academy's goals (e.g., scholarships enabling PhD/Masters studies).
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to work with partners in India and other international contexts.

This role is fundamentally about advancing healthcare education globally through education innovation, leadership in international partnerships, and effective program management.
