Senior Employment Lawyer: Cross-Border Advisory & Impact

Taylor Root is delighted to be partnering with an international law firm as they look to hire a Senior Associate or Legal Director into their growing Employment team in London.

This is a strategic growth role within a highly respected employment practice. The team advises a prestigious client base across the private and public sectors on complex, sensitive, and often high profile employment matters. The work spans Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, cross border advisory projects, workforce restructuring, executive-level appointments and exits, business protection issues, and equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. Corporate support work will form part of your caseload but this is a pure employment role offering real depth and variety.

You will work closely with partners on sophisticated, business critical matters while also having the autonomy to manage your own workload, develop client relationships, and contribute to broader cross border projects. Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
• Experience practicing in the UK is essential.
• Strong experience across contentious and advisory employment matters. Exposure to complex litigation, cross border matters, and employee competition issues is desirable.
• Excellent technical skills, with the ability to deliver commercial, pragmatic advice.
• Confident managing complex matters, collaborating across teams and jurisdictions, and supporting business development initiatives.
• A proactive, flexible, and team oriented mindset.
