  • Working with microcontrollers (and ideally some FPGA exposure) to bring designs to life
  • Taking ownership of design documentation, test planning, and PCB schematics/layouts
  • Collaborating with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to integrate solutions
  • Getting hands-on with prototyping, soldering, and PCB assembly (training provided if needed)
  • Supporting the transition from design to manufacture
What You'll Bring Must-Haves:
  • A strong background in analogue and digital circuit design
  • Practical experience with embedded systems (Assembler/C/C++)
  • Familiarity with interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART
  • Proficiency in PCB layout tools (OrCAD or similar)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • UK passport holder eligible for SC clearance (non-dual nationality)
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Exposure to FPGA design and HDL
  • Understanding of power supply tech and signal integrity
  • Experience with Linux environments
  • An interest in acoustics or environmental instrumentation
Qualifications
  • Degree (2:1 or above) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
Why You'll Love This Role
  • You'll be working on cutting-edge tech with real-world impact
  • Be part of a close-knit engineering team where your ideas matter
  • Opportunities for occasional travel (UK and overseas)
  • Competitive salary with room for growth and personal development
