Senior Electronics Engineer

Location: Sailsbury Wiltshire (onsite)

Salary: Permanent up to £65,000

Working for a market leader in high end consumer audio products you will play a key role within the R&D team designing the electronics for the next generation of the companys products.

From concept phase right through to production you will be involved in the electronics design process: simulating circuits, prototyping, creating schematics, designing PCBs, then testing and assisting with the transition to manufacture.

You are expected to have a strong electronics background, preferably with experience in modern digital technologies such as dealing with high speed digital signals commonly found with DSP and FPGA designs. Knowledge of RF technologies such as Bluetooth and Wi Fi would be beneficial, as would experience of dealing with EMC sensitive applications.

Main duties of the position include :

• Digital circuit design including components such as microprocessors, DSP, FPGA, DAC/ADC, Ethernet, DDR memory
• High speed digital design
• Involvement in analytic and power supply design
• Schematic capture / design
• PCB design
• Design reviews
• Liaising with external suppliers and consultants

Qualifications / experience required :

• Robust previous experience in an electronics design role
• Digital electronics design experience is essential
• Analogue / power electronics (desirable)
