What is it like to be a Senior Electronics Engineer at DHV Technology?
As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be part of our Electronics Department, playing a critical role in the design, manufacturing, and integration of custom electronic components for power subsystems used in satellites. This is a unique opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge aerospace technology and contribute directly to commercial space missions.
You will be involved in all stages of product development, from requirements definition to testing and validation, ensuring high-performance systems for real-world space applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer and product specifications and requirements.
- Design electronic schematics using Altium Designer.
- Layout and route Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
- Develop and implementing power converters.
- Prototype and functionally test hardware.
- Define and execute test procedures for component validation.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Electrical, Industrial, Telecommunications, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Technical Competencies
Experience in some of the following areas is expected:
- Embedded software development for microcontrollers or microprocessors.
- FPGA design (VHDL or Verilog).
- Debugging of digital communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet, CAN Bus).
- Circuit simulation using SPICE tools.
- Basic understanding of EMI/EMC requirements.
- Knowledge of RF concepts.
- Familiarity with motor control systems.
Valued Experience
- Expertise in Altium Designer.
- Programming in C, C++, and Python.
