Senior Electrician

We are a fast-growing, forward-thinking modular construction company looking for a skilled Senior Electrician to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who enjoys a varied role, combining factory-based work with installation, testing, commissioning, customer liaison, and project coordination across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out first fix and second fix electrical installations.
Test, inspect and commission electrical installations.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
Create and update electrical drawings and layouts to support manufacturing and site installation.
Liaise with customers to discuss electrical layouts and ensure installations meet project requirements.
Work with customers and site teams to resolve layout queries and provide practical electrical solutions.
Order electrical materials and supplies, ensuring projects are adequately stocked and materials are available when required.
Monitor and manage electrical stock levels to support factory and site operations.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with current regulations.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Travel to customer sites across the UK mainland and Channel Islands as required.
About You
You'll be a qualified, time-served electrician with experience in testing and inspection, a strong understanding of current electrical regulations, and the confidence to communicate professionally with customers on-site.
Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 3 Technical Certificate (or equivalent).
City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection qualification.
Working knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Experience in first fix, second fix, testing and fault finding.
Ability to create and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Experience ordering electrical materials and managing stock requirements.
Ability to liaise confidently with customers regarding electrical layouts and installation requirements.
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
Desirable
Experience within modular construction.
Experience using CAD software to produce electrical drawings.
CSCS Card.
