Senior Electrician / Working Supervisor

Overview
We are looking for a Senior Electrician / Working Supervisor to take ownership of electrical projects from start to finish.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who is confident running jobs, managing a small team, and delivering high-quality work without constant supervision.

You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while acting as the main point of contact on site.

Duties

Lead and oversee electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on site
Manage and support a small team of electricians and apprentices
Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications
Carry out installation work including wiring, testing, and commissioning
Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and safety standards
Identify and resolve faults quickly and effectively
Plan and organise materials, tools, and labour requirements
Provide clear updates on job progress and any issues
Maintain high standards of workmanship and site organisation

Experience

Proven experience as a Senior Electrician or someone ready to step up into a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and current regulations
Ability to run jobs independently and make decisions on site
Experience managing or mentoring other electricians or apprentices
Organised, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks
Professional attitude when dealing with clients and colleagues

Pay: £45,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
