Senior Electrical Project Manager

Location: Ireland, Monaghan (1 day per month in office for UK candidates)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £80k - £110k OTE

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager to join an established electrical contractor looking to expand their data centre division across the UK & Ireland.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead and grow the new Data Centre division. You will take responsibility for project delivery, client engagement, team management, and business development, while steering a technical team of 10-35 people.

This is a senior leadership role suited to someone with strong electrical expertise, proven project management experience, and the ability to develop both client relationships and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and grow the Data Centre division across Ireland and the UK
  • Oversee large-scale electrical installation projects, ensuring delivery to quality, cost, and safety standards
  • Manage and develop a team of 10-35 engineers, supervisors, and site staff
  • Act as the key client-facing representative, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction
  • Drive business development opportunities within the Irish and UK DC markets
Candidate Profile
  • Strong technical bias with a background in electrical engineering or contracting
  • Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects, ideally within data centres or related sectors
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in managing teams of 10-35 people
  • Confident in client-facing roles, with strong commercial acumen and BD skills
  • Flexibility to travel across Ireland and the UK as projects dictate
