What You'll Be Doing Leading the design, integration, and testing of electrical/electronic systems Delivering engineering solutions across the full lifecycle, ensuring safety and performance standards Driving technical delivery, continuous improvement, and innovation Managing stakeholders and mentoring multidisciplinary teams Presenting technical findings to internal and external audiencesDue to the classified nature of our work, this role is primarily site-based at AWE. What We're Looking For Essential: HNC/HND, NVQ Level 5, or degree in a science/engineering discipline - or equivalent experience Proven experience in leading technical projects and teams Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and people management abilities Ability to plan and deliver multiple objectives concurrently Desirable Experience: Engineering delivery across safety-critical programmes Cost-saving and efficiency improvement initiatives Effective stakeholder engagement and influence Coaching and developing others within multidisciplinary teams Promoting high standards in safety, security, and quality We ask a lot and set the bar high because our work truly matters.
