Senior EC&I Engineer

A fantastic opportunity with one of the biggest names in nuclear and defence is looking for an EC&I Engineer to join there team on a permanent basis. Job Title - Senior EC&I Engineer
Location - Cumbria
Salary - £50,000 to £62,000 (Depending on experience)

The role is for a 37hour working week.

Responsibilities

• Daily deliverables: Ensure any and all specification for clients design are implemented and checked for safety compliance
• Ensure changes are effectively controlled and that work is well documented and coordinated to the correct managers
• Ensure the implementation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP)
• Improve construction safety performance to meet Company targets
• Liaise with designers and / or technical experts to ensure correct interpretation of their requirements and obtain authorisation for modifications as a consequence of local conditions.
• Implementation of Quality Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments etc.
• Ensure the teams work is checked thoroughly and maintained to the specific requirements of the end client

Key Skills / Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering field
• Time spent working on highly regulated sites (preferably Nuclear)
• Installation, commissioning and operations experience
