Senior EC&I Engineer

Are you an EC&I Design Engineer looking for a new role?
Would you like to work on cutting edge Hydrogen projects?
Then this could be the role for you.

What's in it for you:
•£60k to £65k basic salary

What you'll be doing:
• The roles focus on the design and development of complex electrical schematics and engineering documentation in accordance with the relevant gas networks standards.
• You will carry out ATEX calculations, specifying equipment to be used in various hazardous areas.
• You will oversee the development of clear and concise drawing and document packs whilst reviewing existing packs with a keen eye for detail.
• You'll create functional design specifications, FAT and SAT documents for analytical and metering systems.
• You will carry out and review cable calculations, I.S Loop Calculations (DSDs), AC and DC load schedules, lighting calculations and thermal capacity calculations, and ensure their accuracy.
• You will check and approve other design engineer's work, helping to to guide them on how to improve.

Where you'll be doing it:
Our client is a leading system integrator based in Ellesmere Port.

What you'll need:
Experience working within a highly regulated industry as an EC&I / Electrical / Hardware Engineer
Degree / HNC / HND in a relevant discipline
