Location: Cambridge

Salary: £60,000 - £130,000 (flexible for the right person) + Equity + Benefits

The Role

You'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising DSP algorithms. Early in programmes, you'll focus on modelling, simulation, and algorithm development. As systems mature, you'll work closely with FPGA, avionics, and systems engineers to deliver robust, real time solutions suitable for flight environments.

About You

• 5+ years' experience in DSP engineering within aerospace, defence, robotics, radar, comms, or similar high performance domains
• Strong fundamentals in digital signal processing, including filtering, spectral analysis, estimation, and numerical methods
• Proficiency in MATLAB for algorithm development and analysis
• Experience implementing DSP algorithms in C/C++ for embedded or real time systems
• FPGA experience, either hands on or closely coupled, including VHDL or Verilog, fixed point arithmetic, and hardware accelerated DSP pipelines
• Comfort working with safety critical or performance critical systems
