This position is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of non-traditional transportation programs that complement and enhance the traditional transportation provider (TP) network. This role drives innovative, scalable, and cost-efficient models to improve access, optimize delivery performance, and meet evolving client and market needs. Additionally, this role collaborates across departments to integrate digital-first fulfillment strategies, oversee key vendor relationships, and pioneer new service models across diverse markets. This role Program Leadership Leads the oversight and optimization of five core alternative fulfillment programs: Provado: Technology-enabled dispatch and scheduling. Fleet: In-house or directly managed vehicle assets (integrated with Provado) Rideshare: Management of third-party partnerships (e.g., Uber, Lyft) Transit: Public and micro-transit integration. Mileage Reimbursement: Member-centric mileage-based reimbursement programs. Directs strategy, performance tracking, and continuous improvement for all programs. Vendor and Technology Partner Management Owns strategic relationships with key fulfillment and technology vendors. Monitors vendor performance against contractual obligations and SLAs. Leads contract negotiations and renewals in partnership with Legal and Procurement teams. Strategic Partnerships Collaborates cross-functionally with: Product: To ensure tool integration and user-centered design. Finance: To maintain fiscal alignment with reimbursement and cost-containment goals. Transportation Planning: To extend TP capacity in constrained markets. Innovation, Scalability, and Market Expansion Develops and executes strategies to scale digital-first fulfillment models. Leads pilot programs, operational rollouts, and go-to-market planning for emerging modalities. Identifies and targets markets and clients that would benefit most from alternative transportation models. May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned. Occasional business travel may be required. We are interested in speaking with individuals with the following Bachelor's Degree preferred. Twelve (12) plus years of experience in transportation, operations, or healthcare network management. Eight (8) plus years leadership experience, including multi-team oversight and cross-functional collaboration. Advanced Healthcare and Transportation industry experience a plus. Experience working within ADA compliance frameworks and with regulated provider networks. Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Expert knowledge of transportation network operations, regulatory environments (e.g., ADA, Medicaid), and contract/vendor management. Demonstrated ability to lead multi-region operational functions in a matrixed organization. Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance management. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities.Salary: $159,900 - $215,900Bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.Modivcare's positions are posted and open for applications for a minimum of 5 days.
