Job Description: This role will lead the team responsible for developing and implementing the brand analytics strategy and execution roadmap to support North America Oncology, Neuroscience, Rare Disease, & Value & Access teams. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader who can partner and collaborate with the brand teams to provide insights that enable field and Business units with knowledge for superior and fast decision-making.This role is part of the BOS leadership team and is responsible for providing analytical expertise to the organization, driving strategic and operational excellence. This individual must be a highly collaborative and customer-oriented leader with the ability to influence at the strategic level, drive data & analytics capabilities to business priorities, and deliver high quality analytical solutions with agility. Main responsibilities / Job Expectations Provide strategic oversight and guidance to develop and maintain key reporting and analytics for NA, global, & franchise leadership and brand stakeholders Lead and orchestrate the proactive and systematic approach to capturing and understanding brand needs for standard and ad hoc analytics, reporting and insights generation Develop and lead the development and consolidation of KPI and business driver metrics across three BUs and V&A in support of key brand review meetings Partner with brand teams, Data Strategy team, & forecasting to proactively and periodically identify external data sources that address key business questions. Provide Targeting and Segmentation support to ensure field force focus in in alignment with brand strategies Collaborate with brand teams to investigate and explore ad-hoc secondary data investigations for purposes of uncovering and providing key brand insights Forms key questions about commercial performance, initiates relevant analytics and proposes and operationalizes solutions Drive and lead the marketing mix/ROI modelling analysis (either internally or through a vendor) and provide insights into tactical re-allocation for each brand Lead data & analytics transformation initiatives and maintain strong knowledge of emerging external analytics trends, including improved quality controls, speed, and optimized data & analytics visualization Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership through various communication channels Provide continuous updates to Business Units and NA leadership on evolution on Business Insights Strategy and evolution Oversees key supplier relationships for execution of analytics initiatives including contract and budget management, performance management and ad hoc issue resolution Partner with Data Strategy & omnichannel team to Advise and champion appropriate use of advanced analytics to expand insights on patient / customer journeys and predictive alerts Motivate, lead and develop team, while constantly assessing organizational structure to anticipate evolving and future business needs Drive enterprise mindset within team of direct reports and across organization, including appropriate budget management Knowledge, Abilities & Experience Education / Certifications: Bachelor's Degree required. Masters or higher degree preferredExperience: Minimum 12+ years of Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Devices extensive industry experience in analytics programs, capabilities, processes & visualization Prior experience in effectively leading teams critical General knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment Strong knowledge of Brand Data and CRM principles, strategies, and best practices, with a focus on customer segmentation and personalizationLanguages: English Key Technical Competencies Required Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial and patient level data (Claims, Sales, RWE, Lab, etc.) is required Familiarity with brand / marketing analytics or a decision sciences function and experience with advanced quantitative methods is a strong plus (e.g. segmentation, forecasting, predictive modelling, etc.) Knowledge and prior experience in Value/Access & patient services analytics implementation strongly preferred. Proven record of successfully developing effective field insights analytics reporting to enable field execution Evidence of developing automated and/or self service brand insights & analytics reporting for brand and leadership decision making Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and effectively anticipate customer needs Enterprise level leadership with the ability to inspire, motivate and drive results Strong business and financial acumen with understanding of business KPIs; knowledgeable in current and future data industry trends Ability to synthetize, communicate and present complex information clearly and with confidence to peers and senior leaders Excellent communicator, able to persuasively convey both ideas and data, verbally and in writing Proven skills as an effective team player who can engender credibility and confidence within and outside the company Strategic and critical thinking with the ability to engage, build and maintain credibility with Commercial Leadership and Brand teams. Strong organizational skills and time management; ability to manage team and diverse range of simultaneous projects and brand priorities Must possess experience managing multiple, complex projects involving cross-functional teamsThe annual base salary range for this position is $261,000 - $315,000This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentives program.
