Senior Device Testing Engineer - Cambridge, UK

A medical device company is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join their Engineering team. You will be part of the Test Engineering team and will act as a Deputy to the Head of Testing, leading projects and maintaining high standards of testing governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee testing processes and help validate testing methods, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory expectations.
• Apply statistical expertise in force testing and measuring physical properties critical to device functionality.
• Provide clear and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering knowledge sharing across the group.

Essential Skills

• Design Verification & Validation (V&V)
• Test Method Validation (TMV)
• Force Testing / Physical Measurement
• A minimum of 5+ years in the Medical Device Industry
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

The start date for this role is ASAP. The client is open to considering both contract and permanent candidates. The role is based in Cambridge, UK and requires a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.

Salary and rate expectations are negotiable depending on experience.
