PURPOSE OF JOB

An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company and department to provide high-quality device and configuration management using tools such as Intune and AutoPilot. The role is to support and enhance current device management environment in Bytes. This includes future upgrades to Windows 12, updates to IOS, rollout and configuration of software, automation of the JML process, testing new hardware and other such projects. Working along side you is a device configuration and rollout engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, implement, and manage end-to-end device management solutions utilizing Microsoft Intune and Autopilot to streamline device provisioning, configuration, and ongoing management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define device management requirements, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals and security standards.
  • Create and maintain standardized device profiles, configuration settings, and compliance policies to ensure consistent and secure device deployments.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Intune and Autopilot capabilities, staying up-to-date with platform updates, feature releases, and industry trends.
  • Lead the planning and execution of large-scale device deployment projects, including the setup of hardware, software, and network connectivity to support Autopilot deployments.
  • Document processes, procedures, and configuration details related to Intune and Autopilot, ensuring the availability of clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure endpoint security compliance, including encryption, malware protection, and data loss prevention.
  • Point of escalation for other teams within Systems Support
  • Provide consistently professional and high-quality interface between Systems Support and its customers
  • Liaising with external resources (suppliers / manufacturers / support providers)
  • Other task as provided by your manager

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
  • Device management software, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), AutoPilot, AutoPatch for Windows OS, Android and MacOS and IOS
  • Active Directory
  • Conditional Access Policies
  • AD Security Groups
  • Understanding of JML process
  • Powershell for administration (MS Graph)

  • Management Tools - Microsoft SCCM

  • Bytes Software Services Ltd provide a full induction programme to assist in integration to the organisation. The individual will also be expected to attend training courses and take exams to assist with keeping up the business' vendor accreditations
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Based at Bytes Software Service head office in Leatherhead. Occasional visits to other company offices may be required. Occasional out-of-hours work may be required
