What's the role?

As a Senior PHP Developer at CAVU, you'll be part of our Technology function, playing a pivotal role in building, supporting and evolving our brand new single platform - designed to operate at global scale.

This is an opportunity to work with the latest technologies, within a supportive and collaborative environment, as we take knowledge gained from multiple experienced airport services companies and use it to create a market leading product for our partners worldwide.

You'll work closely with product owners and architects, helping shape solutions rather than just implementing tickets, and you'll lead by example - bringing energy, initiative and knowledge sharing to the team.

About you

• A curious and proactive learner, excited to try new things and coach others.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, with the ability to collaborate and shape the best solutions.
• Passionate about building maintainable, scalable applications over chasing complexity.
• Experienced as a senior team member who leads by example and shares knowledge openly.
• Strong Object Oriented Programming with PHP
• PHP 8
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
• Solid understanding of test strategies
• Knowledge of design patterns and their appropriate use
• Experience with event driven architectures
• Familiarity with modern datastores
