Senior Design Engineer / Design Manager

A leading Engineering / Manufacturing company in the Burnley area are looking for a Senior Design Engineer or a Design Manager to oversee a small department of 4 staff and will be hands on in designing parts, components and full products from cradle to grave on a range of bespoke products.

This is a full lifecycle role which will be concept design, it will include 3D CAD Design, liaison with sales department, suppliers of materials and customers. Will produce CAD work, design calculations, prototyping, assembly and test & validation.

The company works in a variety of sectors which makes the role highly interesting with great projects to manage.

Design Engineer Senior requirements:

• Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 3D CAD - Solidworks, Inventor (or similar)
• CAD design, Precision design, or Engineering design experience is a must
• Ability to guide, train and motivate a small team or you may be a design senior looking for their first leadership role
