Senior Delivery Manager (Energy Sector)

Day Rate: £750/day
Location: Mostly remote (occasional travel as required)
Contract Type: Inside IR35
Duration: 12 months

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to lead a major organisational change programme within a large IT directorate. This role focuses on contract management, budgeting, governance, and vendor oversight. You will play a key role in ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives and supporting the transition of innovation projects into business as usual.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contracts and third party supplier relationships
• Oversee budgets of up to £10 £15m, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial governance
• Drive organisational change and support Agile team structuring
• Ensure robust reporting and governance processes
• Support delivery of SaaS solutions and data driven initiatives (AWS, forecasting, machine learning) from a governance perspective
• Facilitate transition of innovation projects into BAU service support

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in budget and financial management for large scale programmes within the Energy Sector
• Strong background in contract/vendor management
• Expertise in governance and reporting
• Experience in organisational change and Agile delivery environments
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain delivery continuity
