Senior Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid, London-based (2-3 days in-office per week)

Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum (DOE) + bonus

Overview:

We are recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer to join a multinational leading insurance broker. The role is part of a small, focused team working on a greenfield project to deliver a modern Medallion Azure/Snowflake data platform, standing up interaction data services and products. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative data solutions within a collaborative, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data engineering best practices.

• Optimize ETL processes and ensure reliable data workflows.

• Maintain data governance and security standards throughout the project.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Azure and Snowflake data platforms.

• Strong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and transformation.

• Experience with ETL tools and methodologies.

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

• Good communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
