The Opportunity

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll own the design and implementation of robust data solutions that power intelligent decision-making and transform the customer experience. You'll bring a passion for clean architecture, automation, and high-performance data products - and act as a mentor and technical guide to the wider engineering team.

What You'll Do

• Design and build high-quality, secure, and scalable data products.
• Implement technical strategies to ensure a future-proof architecture.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and introduce fit-for-purpose tools and practices.
• Lead engineering practices across the team, ensuring standardisation and excellence.
• Guide and mentor engineers of all levels, helping them unlock their full potential.
• Liaise with stakeholders to shape clear, actionable data requirements - even when things are complex or incomplete.

What You'll Bring

• Strong hands-on expertise in DBT, SQL, Snowflake, and orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and visualisation tools such as Power BI.
• Deep knowledge of agile data development methodologies and best practices.
• A passion for automation-first thinking and platform engineering.
• Proven experience in technical leadership and team mentorship.
• Strong communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A curious, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
