Pet Nutrition (PN) isthe most vibrant category in the FMCG sector. As we work totransform this exciting category, a new program, Digital First, hasbeen mobilized by the Mars Pet Nutrition (PN) leadership team.Digital First places pet parents at the center of all we do in MarsPN, while digitalizing a wide range of business process areas, andcreating future fit capabilities to achieve ambitious targets intop line growth, earnings, and pet parent centricity. The DigitalFirst agenda requires Digitizing at scale and requires you todemonstrate significant thought leadership, quality decisionmaking, deep technical know-how, and an ability to navigate complexbusiness challenges while building and leading a team of worldclass data and analyticsleaders.

With Digital First,PN is moving to a Product based model to create business facingdigital capabilities. Develop and maintain robust data pipelinesand storage solutions to support data analytics and machinelearning initiatives. Reporting to the Director-Data engineeringsolution, The role operates globally in collaboration with teamsengineering teams across growthproducts.

TechnicalLeadership - Provide strong technical leadership to dataengineers and DevOps engineers across growth product teams. Act asa thought partner in the design, implementation, and evolution ofscalable data platforms and assets. Champion best practices in dataengineering and foster a collaborative, innovative, andhigh-performance culture acrossteams.

Engineering Standards andFrameworks: Define, maintain, and evolve data engineeringstandards, patterns, and frameworks that product teams can adopt.Ensure consistency, quality, and reusability across solutions.Serve as a point of accountability for technical decisions andarchitectural direction, while empowering product teams to executeeffectively.

DataOps Enablement andOptimization: Drive the adoption of modern DataOpsprinciples to streamline engineering workflows. Partner withplatform teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, observabilitystandards that improve operational efficiency, reliability, andspeed across data pipelines.

DataGovernance and Quality Assurance: Embed governance,security, and data quality practices into engineering workflows.Define guardrails and reference implementations for data accesscontrol, data lineage, and compliance. Promote consistent metadatamanagement and enforce technical standards to ensure trust in dataassets.

StakeholderEngagement: Collaborate with PN D&A leadership, PNproduct owners, and segment D&A leadership to synchronize andformulate data priorities aimed at maximizing value through datautilization.
