Senior Data Engineer - Contract - Azure Fabric

Senior Data Engineer opportunity with a technology focused company who are growing their Dublin data engineering team. 6 month daily rate contract. You will join a team of smart, driven data engineers where you will build cloud based data solutions using Azure, Databricks, Fabric, SQL and Python.

As a senior data engineer, you will play a leading role in building green field data solutions. This company is highly data driven, with a mature and sophisticated data engineering organization. You will collaborate with colleagues who are highly accomplished and passionate about what they do to solve novel, challenging technical problems.

Your focus will be on building cloud native solutions on MS Azure, utilizing a range of Azure data services. The organization are focused on innovative tools and approaches to add further value to business stakeholders using data.

This will ideally suit a senior data engineer, with deep experience in Azure, and strong experience with Databricks (and ideally Fabric).

Role / opportunity:

• Senior Data Engineer role
• 6 month daily rate contract
• Join a specialized agile data engineering team
• Build green field cloud native solutions using Azure, Databricks, Fabric and PowerBI
• Azure, Cloud, Databricks, T-SQL, ETL, Data Pipelines, PowerBI, Fabric
• Tackle complex, challenging projects with huge volumes of data
• Learn new technologies and gain varied experience on Big Data Analytics projects

Skills / experience:

• 8 - 12+ years' experience in Data Engineering, BI development, SQL development, database development or similar
• Strong skills in Databricks
• Azure Cloud experience
• Fabric experience beneficial
• Aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies and solve new problems
• Strong communication skills

Rate:

• €450 - €550 DOE
• 6 month daily rate contract
• Dublin (hybrid)
