Senior Credit Research Analyst

Our client, a global asset manager, is looking to hire a Credit Research Analyst to join the Fixed Income investment team. The purpose of this role is to conduct fundamental and relative value analysis on credit issuers across a broad range of industries and sectors.

Key Duties:

1. Perform fundamental credit analysis to generate investment recommendations.
2. Produce high-quality research notes with a substantive recommendation in terms of credit quality, suitability for investment, position size, and credit trajectory.
3. Perform relative value analysis at both issuer and issue level to evaluate creditworthiness.
4. Incorporate ESG factors into investment recommendations.
5. Play an active role in investment meetings, working daily with PMs and Traders.
6. Maintain regular contact with company management teams.
7. Develop and maintain productive relationships with sell-side and rating agency analysts.

Candidate Profile:

1. 3-7 years relevant credit research experience at an asset manager, investment bank, or ratings agency.
2. Ideally completed or are working towards the CFA qualification.
3. Strong academic credentials.
4. Excellent analytical skills.
5. Team player.
6. Ability to use initiative and work independently, be positive and proactive.
