Senior Control Systems Engineer

Control Systems Engineer - Duration: 6 Months Contract • Remote

Are you passionate about control systems and power generation? We're seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to support a live combustion system upgrade project for a lignite-fired boiler in the Balkans.

This role involves reviewing and finalising EC&I design documentation, ensuring the successful integration of new combustion control systems to meet emission-reduction and safety goals.

• 100% remote contract (UK-based)
• Work on an active, large-scale power project
• Collaborate with expert engineering partners in combustion technology
• Immediate start

• Strong experience in control systems engineering within thermal or coal-fired power generation
• Hands-on expertise with combustion control, Burner Management Systems, and Boiler Safety/Protection Systems
• Proven ability to review and update EC&I designs
• (Nice to have) Experience with Functional Safety (SIL, IEC 61508/61511)
