Senior Contracts Manager

Overview

NRL are looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to work on a contract basis inside or outside IR35 for our client who are the leading power generator in the UK.

This is a UK based role and requires natural gas experience and negotiations of long term agreements.

Role

• Develop commercial constructs and contractual arrangements in support of the development of green hydrogen projects in the UK
• Lead or support key commercial contract negotiations within the UK Hydrogen team
• Predominantly UK based role

Job requirements and experience

• Technical, commercial, or legal graduate degree (MSC, BSC) with extensive work experience in the related area
• 10 years plus experience in negotiations of long-term agreements, ideally in non-liquid markets, such as natural gas, LNG or technical gas sales and purchase agreements or natural gas transportation/storage agreements
• Broad understanding of energy markets, esp. natural gas and electricity
• Ideally with some experience in structuring and/or managing Joint Ventures
• Ideally with experience in UK green hydrogen market
